Tiles delivered

Our Roof tiles have been delivered!
But the Melbourne weather hasn't been very nice to us.
It has been POURING all of today and probably over the weekend as well. Hopefully it doesn't affect the Grand Finals too!
Praying for better weather all of next week so that we can have a hat, and maybe getting wrapped too!

Soaking wet windows despite under covered

Slight Rant:
Every since the start of our discussion with PD (sales consultant, Tender, Contract, BC, SS) we were not been told that eaves did NOT come as standard with the home. As a result, we believed all along that we were going to get the EXACT same result as the showrooms at Greenvale and Wantirna (eaves all along the entire house). However, as they were constructing the gutters and roof, I've noticed that there was a very complicated area around a joint corner of the house.

Given that we have no background in reading construction drawings, this error was one that I never had been able to pick up. I made a discovery that my whole family had overlooked as well. This is another mistake we shouldn't have made..
I'm quite disheartened that we did not pick this up earlier on, during our tender appointment or when the presenter did her tender contract viewing. Nothing about eaves were bought up. I generally assumed that it would be provided as standard.

Having said all that, I guess we can live without eaves, we would hardly take shelter from the rain under it anyway! Plus, given our Hebel panels, hopefully we do not lose too much in terms of maintaining heating/cooling. Perhaps it could even add to the modern look we're after!

Area of concern: Corner joint between the Activity room and Bed 2
Area where gutter currently sits - No eaves.
Water will flow down the large gully and onto the roof
which has eaves (provided by our

front facade) and onto its own gutter.

Top view of the area described above.
Im not going to blame PD for not informing us and 'want out money back' but rather let this serve a warning to those who are thinking of building the Sandringham 45 with PD. Make sure you ask about EVERYTHING! - even if down to the nails they use if require..Haha! Don't make the same mistake we did.

p.s: eaves around the house would be an additional $4000+ as an Upgrade. (I did some research and thats what other PD customers have been charged)
